Mainstream Media Obsesses with North Korea During Olympics

By every objective account, the despotic regime of North Korea is the most oppressive in the world. With the state in command of every aspect of life imaginable, its people are routinely starved, abused, and even killed whenever they do anything to cause suspicion.

Of course, this has been fairly common knowledge since the Kim family took control of the country in 1950 and established an authoritarian communist government. Since then, the country has moved away from ideological communism and closer to a top-down cult of personality, wherein virtually all political power is vested in one individual.

This is the country mainstream media outlets like CNN and the New York Times were fawning over during this last weekend’s Olympic games.

With headlines like “Kim Jong Un’s sister is stealing the show,” it really makes you wonder exactly where these journalists’ loyalty truly lies. After all, these are the same people who suggest President Donald Trump is transforming the United States into a fascist dictatorship on a daily basis. Apparently, actual dictatorships get a pass on this one.

Watch Steven Crowder rip the media apart over this in the video below.
