It is commonly believed that climate change models can predict the world’s future climate. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
Will Happer is an Emeritus Professor of Physics who has decades of teaching experience at some of the country’s leading universities. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers, co-authored one of the first books about CO2’s effect on the climate and worked for the United States Department of Energy. He clearly states that long-term climate models have never worked and are unlikely to ever work at any point in the future.
The simple reason why these models are doomed to failure even before they are fully finalized is that there are so many factors that have a bearing on climate and weather patterns that it is simply impossible for even trained, experienced scientists to accurately predict what the weather will be like in the distant future. While human activity can naturally have a positive or negative impact on the world’s future climate, it is just one of many factors and not even the most significant one.
Naturally, this isn’t the type of climate-related headline that will generate news as scientists the world over won’t relish hearing that they simply can’t do what they think they can. However, the scientific basis for the points outlined in this short video is simply impossible to refute.
