This is How Western Civilizations Collapse

There is a clear, discernible, and repeating pattern that can be found in the collapse of most, if not all fallen western civilizations. It is a pattern that is best typified in the decline of the Roman Empire.

It starts with obsessive expansionism. It begins to take hold when a sheltered luxury class becomes disconnected from the warrior class. Then, an atmosphere of complacency begins to set in. This complacency arises from just a few generations of lavish lifestyles of comfort. As people’s lives become easier and easier, they slowly begin to lose their reverence for the virtues and values that made their society strong.

What comes next is the slowly festering attitude that men and their strength are irrelevant — even harmful. Then comes the reverence for the frivolous. Out of this comes the assumption that weakness, in all its forms, is just part of what makes everyone unique. We start to see weakness as sensitivity, as creativity. Men stop seeking to be strong and start seeking to become interesting.

Once this culture of permissiveness reaches its peak, the dying culture has to start importing the strength that it lacks. Soon, immigrants who have no allegiance to the country are brought in to replace the receding productivity which an effete culture cannot produce.

The strength from within that has gone missing is replaced with strength from without. The nation has become an empty shell and is ripe for commandeering by foreign interests.

Here’s Paul Joseph Watson with more on the fall of western powers.
