The Left’s Censorship Purge Isn’t Over Yet
Conservatives have been the subjects of unfair censorship on the internet for at least three years now. It’s been going on at Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and really just about every political platform that you can probably think of with a few exceptions.
Even GAB.AI is not safe. Because they are dependent on big tech for their underlying digital foundation, they are being threatened if they do not start censoring their users. So far they have refused. Even President Donald Trump’s own Twitter account was temporarily shut down by one their more excitable employees. Conservative YouTube creators have been saying for a long time that they expect to receive arbitrary strikes against their channel for b.s. terms of service violations.
You’ve probably heard about the Alex Jones ban from several online platforms. As egregious as this is, it has been going on for some time. Many channels have been taken down for supposedly violating YouTube’s terms of service.
All you have to do is say something like ‘abortion is murder’ and they might ding you for hate speech.
Admittedly, it seems like there’s more to it than this though. The concerted effort that went into Alex Jones being banned off of Spotify, Facebook, YouTube, iTunes, and a few others all within a 12-hour period sounds to us like election meddling.
That’s right. This is about the upcoming mid-terms.
Here’s Paul Joseph Watson, a likely target in the next wave of channel takedowns, with more on this story.
