Feminist Attacks Transgender People as “Not Real Women”
A prominent feminist activist recently claimed transgender people saying they’re not “real women” in a controversial BBC video posted to YouTube.
In the video, hardline feminist Julie Bindel takes transgender people to task saying they lack the real-life experiences to be considered women. Her measured, socio-political rant goes as far as saying that neither she nor anyone else knows what it means to be a woman. The concept itself is a construct females have no control over — it’s all just male oppression.
As expected, Bindel goes on a man-bashing hunt that accuses males of being rapists, abusers and places all women’s woes at the masculine doorstep. The radical left thinker then takes a shot at transgender people saying that they cannot possibly understand what it feels like to be a woman because they have no girlhood experience.
Transgender woman Jane Faye appears to cow to Bindel’s position but argues that “she” is a “woman” with different life experiences. Faye makes a strong point that the attacks on transgender people always include hateful statements that they are not “real.”
Apparently, the radical Bindel has been well-schooled in political tactics. She deftly shifts the discussion to domestic abuse and the liberal extremists’ hate of U.S. Pres. Donald J. Trump. Admitting that she’s been dismissed from gainful employment, Bindel abuses people and issues in the Conservative landscape.
If you want to take the 12 minutes to endure the spectacle of this appalling feminist rant against men, women, transgender people and basic human decency, make sure you’re sitting down.
