A Simple Way to Repair the Damage Done to Education
The state of higher education in the United States is at a point of crisis, and the threat that it poses to any ideas outside of the leftist agenda is severe.
Elite universities that once used to be shining beacons of reason and open-mindedness are now purposefully working to silence conservative voices. This effort to censor anyone that dares to disagree with leftist ideas spans from conservative students who are punished in the classroom for speaking out, conservative professors who risk losing their job if their viewpoint is made known, and conservative speakers who are met by angry mobs when they attempt to speak on campus.
The question is what can be done about this problem? The grip that the left has on higher education continues to tighten, and it seems as if there is no simple way to reverse the trend. With that said, though, there is something that Americans all across the country can do to punish universities for censoring conservative thought. It’s a simple yet effective solution and one that is certainly worth trying if we hope to reverse the damage that has been done to higher education in our country.
