Charity Event for Slain Cop CANCELLED When Republicans Are Invited

While those on the left like to pretend that President Donald Trump and the GOP are to blame for the divisiveness and hate in politics, there are far too many examples showing just how divisive and hateful they themselves can be.

Now, though, leftist officials in California may have taken petty divisiveness to a new level by suspending a charity event for a fallen police officer after learning that Trump supporters had been invited.

The event in question was supposed to raise money for the family of Sergeant Ron Helus, who was killed in the line of duty last year while engaging a mass shooter. However, once the Democratic police chief and assemblywoman learned that several Republicans were on the guest list, they canceled the event.

If the tables were turned and a member of the GOP had canceled a charity event for the family of a fallen officer over petty politics, the story almost certainly would have made national news. As it stands, though, this is yet another story that the mainstream media has ignored. What can’t be ignored, however, is just how hateful and divisive so many members of the Democratic Party have become.
