No matter what it takes, the Democratic Party is determined to impeach President Trump. For years, Democrats clung to the Mueller investigation and the threadbare narrative of Russian collusion as their reason for pursuing impeachment. When that narrative crumbled, though, it didn’t take House Democrats long to change strategies.
House Democrats have now switched their focus back to collusion once again, this time charging that Trump colluded with Ukraine to find dirt on Joe Biden.
Of course, these are just a few of the more prominent examples of narratives that the Democratic Party has used to support their ceaseless push for impeachment. In reality, every time the President sneezes, the mainstream media and House Democrats alike begin discussing if it is an impeachment-worthy offense.
All of this only goes to show that Democrats are not confident that they can beat Trump in a fair election. Determined to ignore the will of the people and remove him from office anyway, though, Democrats are now moving the impeachment goalposts over and over again — and this is a trend that is likely to continue for as long as Donald Trump is President.
