Hong Kong Man BEATEN for Opposing Chinese Regime
What’s going on in Hong Kong right now should serve as a serious wake-up call for us. Hong Kong is probably the world’s best example of the kinds of freedom and prosperity that a truly free market can create. To be brief, the people have been doing very well.
They are a lot like us. They are an experiment in a way to freedom and prosperity which has succeeded to a large extent — and their prosperity looks like a big fat cheeseburger to those who would like to carve up that prosperity for themselves. It’s true here, and it’s true there. Right now, we are trying to stave off a civil war and revolution by talking sense at the top of our lungs. But in Hong Kong, things have already hit the fan. They are fighting the military police in the streets.
Now, here’s where it gets weird. Apparently, American-based left-wing groups have been traveling to Hong Kong to fight the populist protesters on the streets. Not only that, but the protesters have been using Pepe the Frog as their mascot. In other words, our culture war has become the face of their fight for freedom from China.
Now, here’s where it gets straight-up Bizarro World. The Hong Kong protesters have been saying they want the British to come back and impose order. They credit the West for the prosperity that China is now trying to steal.
If you ask us, we think we should annex Hong Kong as the 46th state. They like us, we like them… so why not?
Here’s RT with a clip that will blow out your brain meat, fully.
