Right now, lawmakers in Illinois and Virginia are making moves to take gun rights away from the people in those areas. Politicians in Chicago, you know — the ones whose policies are responsible for the horrific, warlike conditions that people are living in there — are pulling their weight to take guns away from farmers and other responsible people living in the surrounding area.
Those are just two of the most visible battles over gun rights going on at the moment. Presently, the NRA is fighting legislators in California over their continuing push to for more magazine capacity restriction laws. As these more overt campaigns are being carried out to take guns out of the hands of decent people, Red Flag laws are being pushed in local areas all over the country.
In case you haven’t heard, Red Flag laws make it possible for law enforcement to confiscate an individual person’s guns without due process based on an anonymous tip.
You might have noticed that the gun debate has gone underground in recent months. This is because the left is losing the battle for public opinion. Now, they turn to more deceptive means to disempower people who want to defend their homes, families, and selves from those who would do them violence.
These endeavors are based on lies and are intended to get us to give them permission to do us harm. It is a typical, cowardly attempt to gain total sovereignty over us. And it’s has happened before.
