Twitter Implements ‘Misgendering’ Ban Policy

Now that control over the majority of information and communication has been given to a handful of tech companies, those companies have taken it upon themselves to decide what speech will be tolerated and what speech will not. Little by little, more and more speech is being effectively outlawed by these companies, who are quick to come down on users with a ban from the platform if they don’t fall in line.

In Twitter’s latest update to their terms of service, the social media company has deemed that “misgendering” or “deadnaming” transgender individuals will now lead to a ban from the platform. For those unfamiliar with all the nuances of leftist terms and language, “misgendering” refers to calling a transgender individual by their biological gender – for example, calling Caitlyn Jenner a man – while “deadnaming” refers to calling a transgender individual by their previous name – for example, calling Caitlyn Jenner Bruce Jenner.

In other words, Twitter is now forcing users to accept an altered version of reality and ignore the long-held, scientific facts about sex and gender if they wish to continue using the platform. Apparently, both science and free speech have been tossed by the wayside in order to avoid offending a small group of people.
