Ilhan Omar Out Over Her Skis on Graham Accusations
Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has come forward with some pretty ugly accusations against South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. Basically, what she’s been saying is that because Graham has turned around in his attitude toward President Trump, it shows that he is compromised in some way.
What’s funny is that most people believe that Graham was compromised when Senator John McCain was alive. Graham went along with everything McCain said, did, and voted for. It was like he was beholden to mirror all of McCain’s positions no matter how hawkish is untoward.
Graham really began to shine when he came out against the baseless and obviously politically motivated accusations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. It was so impressive and out of character for him that people started calling Golden Graham. It was a pretty adorable meme, actually.
But the thing about Omar is, she isn’t actually saying what she thinks Trump has on Graham. But here it is. She thinks Graham is gay, and she thinks that if his gayness were to come to light that it would be damning for Graham.
Many people have speculated that Graham might be gay. He’s an older gentleman who is unmarried and has no children. The thing is — no one cares. So, what we’re seeing here is Omar’s outstanding prejudice. She thinks being gay is a crime — because in her religion and in the culture she is actually loyal to — it is a crime.
