Colin Kaepernick FORCES Nike to Ditch Patriotic Betsy Ross Shoes

At this point, many Americans have likely forgot that Colin Kaepernick used to play NFL football. After he was cut from the San Francisco 49ers due to his performance, he has thrown all of his capitol behind social justice. Basically, he’s an overpaid leftist shill.

Now, we’re seeing a new level of distain for American from the former third-string quarterback. Kaepernick, who signed a lucrative contact with Nike to allow the company to score some social justice points of its own, is disappointed that his partner actually wanted to do something Americans might like.

The problem? Nike wanted to release a line of shoes honoring the original American flag designed by Betsy Ross — the one featuring the original circle of 13 stars, representing the original 13 colonies that declared their independence from England in 1776.

Apparently, Kaepernick believes the flag represents slavery, and could bother some people. By other people, of course, he means himself.

This is one of the radical left’s favorite pastimes, because we all know they don’t do anything useful. They reach back to a time when every society had misgivings by modern standards, and associate everything they can with the social ills of the time. Slavery was an abomination — but that’s not what Betsy Ross was trying to commemorate.

Here’s Anthony Brian Logan with more.
