Actor Liam Neeson Under Fire for “Racist” Comments

Liam Neeson is no conservative, and he certainly isn’t a fan of President Trump. A few weeks ago, the progressive left likely would have considered Neeson an ally. However, no one turns on their own faster or more aggressively than the modern left, and Neeson has become their latest target.

In a recent interview, the Hollywood actor told a story about a time when a close female friend of his was raped by a black male. Neeson explained that he had a very tribal response to the event and that, for a while, he was angry with black men at-large over the crime that one black man committed. In the interview, Neeson went on to explain that he is now ashamed of this response and that it was the wrong mindset to have. However, that wasn’t enough for leftists who quickly pounced on Neeson for being a racist.

Ending careers over past mistakes is a favorite pastime of the left, and no amount of apologies or remorse is enough in their minds. Those in the public spotlight are forced to walk a very fine line their entire lives or risk becoming the next victim of the leftist mob. Now, Liam Neeson is learning this lesson the hard way.
