Jimmy Kimmel: Comedians are Liberal Because They’re ‘Intelligent’

It’s official: the age of late night comedy being a place where Americans of all ideological stripes can sit back and enjoy a monologue is over.

Over the weekend, late night host Jimmy Kimmel was featured on a program called Pod Save America — an overtly left-wing broadcast featuring several former Obama administration staffers. When asked to expand on his more recent forays into political activism, Kimmel went on to suggest that comedy and a liberal worldview go hand in hand.

Kimmel doubled down on the point, stating that all late night comedians find themselves on the left because their profession requires a certain degree of intelligence — effectively saying that conservatives are simply too dumb to do his job.

At this point, it should be obvious as to which political group is really dividing the country…
