Watch Democrats Line Up to Kiss Al Sharpton’s Ring

Believe it or not, there was a time when the self-styled “Reverend” Al Sharpton was considered to be a fringe voice on the left that most Democrats wouldn’t touch. He was widely known as a con man who wouldn’t hesitate to bait corporations to give him money to save themselves from being called “racist.”

Sharpton likes to refer to himself a a modern civil rights activist, in the same vein as the late Martin Luther King, Jr. He uses his personal attachment to King as proof of his ideological purity. For many, this is enough to enshrine him as a credible political voice. But this largely fell apart in the 1990s, when Sharpton revealed himself for what he really was. He told Jews to “pin back” their kippahs and meet them at his house. He referred to them as “white interlopers”.

Today, Sharpton has a primetime talk show on MSNBC. He is treated as a guest of honor by leading Democratic presidential candidates. And once again, he leads the charge in defaming people the left doesn’t like.

Is this what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi means when she says “diversity is our strength”?

Here’s Tucker Carlson with more.
