Baltimore Residents Asked: Which Politician Said This “Racist” Statement?

Last week, President Donald Trump garnered the scorn from the mainstream media once again when he slammed Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings for failing to bring home the bacon for his district in Baltimore.

Trump’s criticisms of Baltimore, which like many urban areas, has been controlled by Democratic politicians for decades, were not atypical. The city, as Trump and numerous others have pointed out, is dirty, crime-ridden, and reeks of rat infestations. Now, the media immediately assumed the “infestation” referred to the large minority population living there, which really says more about the media than anyone else, but all know that’s just part of the game they play.

Predictably, Baltimore residents were pretty upset by all of this. And it’s hard to blame them — both local and national media outlets dedicated full segments to lambasting the president for pointing out things that their own mayor had complained about in the past. Even Bernie Sanders made similar statements — not even that long ago — and received approximately zero scorn from the media for it.

So, do these residents know who said what about their city? Let’s find out by watching the video below.
