The ramping up of the culture war in recent years and the dramatic unmasking of the Democratic Party has been a stark revelation for a lot of people. Many who saw themselves as strident liberals have changed their political leanings.
A lot of people who once sneered at the idea of national pride and civic duty now look at the Founding and the Constitution favorably. Even many atheists have come to appreciate Christian and western values as a result of the unmasking of the left.
As the left’s mask of motherly concern has fallen away, we have seen them call for violence, abandon their care for the working class, openly call for the legalization of infanticide, and outright embrace lies just to stay safely welcome on their own side.
This has caused a cultural shift among the formerly left-leaning reasonable people among us. Once drifting and pro-state-theft people now see the value of community, the power of virtue, and the necessity of nurturing our natural human strength.
They have come to realize that the family unit is a natural result of healthy human bonding and that patriotism does not mean blind obedience to a government — but stalwart loyalty to a community.
There are times in our history when trials and tribulations have shown us how strong we can be when these virtues are respected.
