The Kavanaugh case is a complete and total scam and a cynical ploy for political power. Don’t think we like saying that over and over, because we don’t.
We’ve come to a point in our national politics where outright lies and power grabs from the left have become the norm. It’s what’s expected. People who hate Donald Trump and want his judicial pick to have his life ruined and his family shamed don’t even believe this total lie of a stalling tactic.
Only a total fool would believe these allegations because they are baseless and obviously strategic. Senator Dianne Feinstein knew about them in June, but she sat on them until now. No, the anti-Trump left doesn’t believe the allegations against Kavanaugh. They only approve of them because they hurt the Trump administration.
But there’s something else about these allegations that should be pointed out. They separate the credulous from the rational. They drive a wedge between people who value and seek out reason and evidence and those who don’t.
When Chuck Schumer came on TV and said he believes Ford’s allegations having never met her or seen any real evidence, and said he believes her completely, he set a new standard for political hackery.
What we need now more than anything else are people who are not afraid to be called names by liars. We need people who will not back down when the political topic du jour is based entirely on nonsense.
