Time to Drain the Swamp in the FBI?

Fusion GPS, the company behind the anti-Trump dossier, recently confirmed that they did indeed hire the wife of a top Justice Department official to assist in investigating Trump.

Court documents indicate that the owner of Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, admitted that his company paid Nellie Ohr to analyze Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. Simpson also admitted that he met with her husband, Bruce Ohr, to discuss election findings about Russia and the election, for which Bruce Ohr was demoted, due to concealing these meetings.

Now, there are serious concerns about this being a major conflict of interest with the Russia investigation. This concern has caused President Trump’s legal team to demand a second special counsel.

The call for this special counsel from the president is receiving widespread support from conservatives in Washington. Representative Darrell Issa thinks that with all of the recent questions concerning our FBI and Department of Justice, it is crucial for the President to seek out a group or a team to lead the second special council that “could be above question.”

Issa thinks that now, especially after his questioning of the FBI director, that it is time for an independent investigation. He further indicates that it is belief that the FBI has an internal problem investigating this, and that they certainly cannot investigate themselves. Others point out just how dangerous it can be when there are lawyers inside the Justice Department and agents inside the FBI who are willing to use their power for political purposes, which is exactly how it appears to be based on recent revelations.

Learn who conservatives in Washington believe are trying to undermine the 2016 election results via the legal process in this video.
