Amazon’s Alexa Calls Milo Yiannopolous a “White Nationalist”

Amazon’s Alexa software doesn’t just provide you with a rundown of the news of the day — it’s also perfectly capable of supplying political opinions.

In a recent video uploaded to Milo Yiannopolous’ YouTube channel, the device is shown referring to the British conservative provocateur as a “white nationalist.”

The anonymous user asks Alexa a pair of questions, the first one being a general inquiry as to who Milo is. When prompted, the software responds by identifying Yiannopolous as being associated with the so-called “alt-right” movement. In a follow-up, the user asks Alexa to define the alt-right itself, wherein the software calls it an offshoot of white nationalism.

This isn’t the first time Alexa has been shown to inject a political opinion. In an earlier story covered here at Liberty Video News, commentator Steven Crowder revealed the software’s implicit bias in identifying both Jesus Christ and the Prophet Mohammed in Islam. Crowder has since been accused of faking the video, prompting a follow-up upload.

Check out the video below to see if Alexa is once again slandering a conservative thinker.
