Over the past few years, Hollywood has increasingly become little more than a propaganda arm for the far left. Celebrities across the industry have become wrapped up in something of a group-think mentality, where anyone who goes along with the liberal narrative is applauded and praised as courageous while anyone who doesn’t tow the line is shamed and outcast.
However, even in these darkest of days for the entertainment industry, there are a few beacons of hope, and one of them is Hollywood actor Chris Pratt.
Delivering a speech at the MTV awards, Pratt outlined what he said were nine rules for the next generation. While some of these rules were obviously designed to be humorous and others were rules that most everyone ought to be able to get behind such as the importance of reaching out to someone who is pain, he also discussed his Christian faith and the need for a relationship with God – a risky topic in modern Hollywood to say the least.
Pratt talks about the importance of praying, the existence of God, and the need to treat your soul with care. At one time, these remarks would not have been controversial. Today, though, they take real bravery for an actor to say, much less an actor as successful as Chris Pratt.
If actors such as Pratt are able to show that it’s okay to go against the group-think mentality of the entertainment industry, there may be hope for Hollywood yet. To learn more about Chris Pratt’s speech, be sure to check out the video below.
