Ted Cruz Weighs in on Al Franken’s Shocking Allegations

Texas Senator Ted Cruz had some choice words for one of his colleagues during an interview with Joe Pags on Newsmax TV.

Leftist hypocrisy in the media and in the political establishment has reached a fever pitch, evidenced by how both are treating allegations against Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore and sexual assault allegations against Democrat Al Franken — the latter of which has photographic evidence.

While Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell forwarded the matter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Franken is expected to face little to no consequences for his actions. With some media outlets such as the Washington Post effectively defending Franken’s behavior, it’s hard to expect he’ll face any repercussions outside of the Senate either.

Cruz weighed in on the aforementioned hypocrisy last week.

“These allegations against Al Franken are serious,” he said. “The picture is highly damning. I’ve read the account of the radio host…that is not acceptable.”
