Squad Member Rep. Ilhan Omar Named ‘Anti-Semite of the Year’

When discussing anti-Semitism in the United States, there’s one important thing you need to keep in mind: bad political actors have been twisting the conversation for a long time.

While the mainstream media will happily hold any anti-Semitic incident involving a white nationalist under a microscope, a story about a synagogue being attacked by a Black Hebrew Israelite — that is, a black nationalist — will fade from view within hours.

This is because the mainstream left doesn’t actually care about anti-Semitism. Sure enough, they’ll make all the Trump-Hitler comparisons in the world, and suggest that the president is the literal reincarnation of the Nazi leader and that’s a very bad thing — but will in the same breathe find a way to excuse openly anti-Semitic organizations like Hamas or Hezbollah.

Considering all of this, it’s no surprise as to why someone like Minnesota’s Rep. Ilhan Omar can enjoy so much support from the Democratic Party’s progressive base. She has made openly anti-Semitic remarks, including a tweet suggesting that the entire reason why America supports Israel is because the United States is being paid off by the Jews. We wish we were making that up.

Check out the video below for a more detailed glimpse into left-wing anti-Semitism that we’re not supposed to know exists.
