What is true is that, after years of green environmental policy disallowing farmers to perform controlled burns on their crops, wildfires in Australia have become incredibly hard to contain. This is one of the reasons why many farmers perform controlled burns in the first place. But, green politicians in Australia who believe they know better than anyone else thought this was destroying the planet, so they passed laws against the practice. And…here we are.
The truth about the real environmental and climate factors behind the Australian wildfires probably warrants its own separate piece. But, today we’re going to take a close look at just how happy the media is to jump on anything that may support its narrative, even when there’s almost no science to support it at all.
