Podcaster Shows Students Know Nothing About Guns

We can’t say we’re horribly surprised by what we saw in the video linked below, but that doesn’t make it any less entertaining or important.

Conservative podcaster Steven Crowder is at it again with his signature “change my mind” segment — a venture in which the outspoken comedian embeds himself in the most progressive, lefty environment possible to invite onlookers to change his mind about key issues. Today’s topic was gun control.

Now, this isn’t the first time Crowder has tackled the gun control issue in this way. But, with guns and the Second Amendment seemingly at the top of every broadcast in response to the deadly mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, the podcaster felt it was time to revisit the topic — and see exactly how informed college students are about firearms in general.

Not surprisingly, those who volunteered to sit with Crowder could barely understand the difference between any firearm variants. Even the definition of “assault weapon” proved to be problematic, with one student suggesting that the AR-15 is a military grade firearm with automatic firing capabilities. As Crowder himself as rebutted several times before, the rifle is neither of those things.
