Liberal Media Upset Trump is Being Mean to Slain ISIS Leader

In late October, President Donald Trump approved a military operation that ended with the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the most wanted terrorist in the world.

While Baghdadi didn’t enjoy the same status as Al Qaeda leader and 9/11 conspirator Osama bin Laden in the American imagination, his reign of terror was just as — if not more — lethal than his Saudi-born predecessor. ISIS, also known for a long time as the Islamic State, controlled large swaths of territory in both Iraq and Syria, and inspired a number of copycats to employ terror tactics all over the world. The world is a better place now that Baghdadi is dead. For good measure, the United States military was also able to eliminate the caliphate’s second-in-command, making it even more difficult for the terror group to re-organize in the aftermath of this crushing defeat.

This is an objectively good development for the United States and the western world as a whole. ISIS was a scourge on humanity — especially on Muslims living in the Middle East. Hopefully, the destruction of the terror group can allow these regions to recover, and possibly modernize.

Well, the liberal media in America didn’t really see it that way. For no other reason than the fact they hate the president who gave the order, left-wing pundits went above and beyond to frame this as a sad day for the country. Even we didn’t expect this…
