These days, Democrats aren’t very accustomed to being attacked by the media. When it does happen, therefore, they often aren’t exactly sure how to respond. Perhaps this is why an aide from Kamala Harris’s campaign chose to send Buzzfeed such a bizarre and absurd note after a Buzzfeed reporter published a Tweet that was critical of Harris’s most recent debate performance.
The Tweet in question was more a praise of Elizabeth Warren than it was a critique of Kamala Harris. It did, however, compare Harris to a crazy Greenpeace activist clamoring for attention. Obviously displeased by the Tweet, Harris’s aide chose to send a letter to Buzzfeed blasting the Tweet in the only way Democrats know how – declaring it racist.
With no reason or provocation whatsoever, Harris’s campaign has chosen to attack one of the most far-left “woke” publications on the internet as racist all over a single critical Tweet that wasn’t racist in any way or form. Given that she and all Democrats are so used to being shielded from criticism by the mainstream media, though, it’s at least understandable for Harris to have such thin skin.
