Democrats Have ALWAYS Claimed GOP Wins are Illegitimate

With all the votes finally counted, it looks like the Democrats were able to pull off a slow “blue wave” after all. Now, it’s true that the Republicans managed to maintain their control of the Senate. But, if we care about the conservative agenda, we have to be honest about this: Republicans need to do better in future elections.

The above is perhaps the most honest way to read how the 2018 midterm elections played out. It wasn’t the colossal takeover more optimistic progressives were hoping for, but Democrats were certainly motivated. Of course, in their minds, they should have won every — not just in 2018, but every year and in every location. This is because the Democrats are the sorest losers imaginable.

Think about this for a second — the Republican Party lost handily in state-wide House elections. How many MAGA hats have you seen waving causing a ruckus in the streets the day after elections? The answer is zero, because conservative Americans are generally accepting when it comes to defeat. Democrats do not display the same level of grace, and we don’t have to look back too far to recall it. In fact, all you have to do is look at how they’re reacting now
