Ben Shapiro Praises Trump’s Jerusalem Call

Ben Shapiro discusses President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel, as well as his decision to move the United States embassy to Jerusalem.

He reviews the history associated with the United States’ interactions with Israel and Jerusalem in particular. He also discusses the potential implications of these recent decisions, and he gives his opinion of each of these decisions.

In addition to discussing the basics of this situation, Shapiro goes on to debunk some myths being perpetrated by the left, such as the idea that President Trump is the first United States President to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, as well as the idea that Saudi Arabia is upset about President Trump’s actions.

As an Orthodox Jew himself, Shapiro is in a unique position to provide the Jewish perspective on this topic. American Jews across party lines have a special connection to Israel, a connection which has often caught the Democratic Party off guard when their leaders have cozied up to the likes of Iran (example: Barack Obama and the Iran nuclear deal).

Watch the video below for a deeper insight on just important Israel is to the Jewish people around the world.
