Former Obama Staffer Exploring 2020 Run for the White House

You know how you feel when some flabby nephew announces to the family that he’s going off to be a Navy Seal? You want to tell him that it’s a waste of time. You want to tell him that the BUDS program will probably break every bone in his under-calcified skeleton. But you don’t. You keep your mouth shut out of respect for the family. You don’t want to hurt his feelings or make holiday get-togethers any harder than they already have to be.

Or how about the time your short, under-muscled high school friend, decided he was going to ask the football captain’s girlfriend to go with him to the prom. You wanted to tell him not to do it. You didn’t want to see the little freak get mashed into a grease spot on the quad, but you just didn’t want to crush his soul any sooner than it had to be. The squat fool had just read Roush V’s latest screed, and he thought he knew all the right moves, and you just could not bear to tell him that there is no right move for someone with his splotchy complexion and coagulant hairstyle.

Well, that’s kind of how we feel about Obama’s former secretary of housing and urban development, Julian Castro. He has just announced that he’s running for president. He released a cringe-inducing announcement video that just makes your buttocks cinch up.

Here’s Mark Dice with more on this jowl stiffening development.
