Rand Paul Wants to Go After the Deep State
President Donald Trump isn’t the only person in government looking to slap down some serious checks on the deep state. By some accounts, there are also many, many “white hats” working from inside our institutions, intelligence agencies, and other facets of government to protect the foundational law of the land and the God-given rights of American citizens.
It may not seem like it from where we’re sitting, but you can bet your bottom sandwich that if these white hats were not there, we would be living in a communist schmidt hole. And it’s a good thing too. Because what we learned few Project Veritas a few weeks ago made it abundantly clear that many people working in our institutions are actively trying to frustrate Trump’s efforts to return power to the American people.
We’re talking about card-carrying Democratic Socialists working to subvert the law of the land and thwart the president and disenfranchise the majority of Americans who voted for him. They are the “black hats.” If you didn’t see the PV videos, they’re pretty dramatic. James O’Keefe catches several deep state employees admitting on hidden camera to doing their best to stymie Trump’s progress.
But we’ve got more than just Trump and some white hats. Now Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is overtly calling for checks and oversight on what he has openly called the “deep state.” Paul questions Obama era Drone war politics, and asks the question, ‘was this program intentionally designed to create terrorists?’
Here’s Rand Paul with more below.
