Massive Migrant Caravan Pushes Toward U.S. Border

A serious threat to the sanctity and security of our borders is making it’s way up through Mexico, and how this threat is handled may shape the future of our immigration crisis for decades to come.

Right now, over 5,000 immigrants from Guatemala are making their way toward the United States border. They’ve already fought their way past the Mexican border, battling with Mexico border security before eventually overwhelming them and pushing through into the country. Now, they intend to do the same at the US border.

President Trump has vowed to stop this caravan of illegal immigrants from crossing over into the United States at all costs, even if it means bringing the military to the border. It is essential that he makes good on this promise. If this migrant caravan is able to make it into the United States unopposed, it’ll open up the floodgates. If they aren’t stopped, the US might as well open up its borders entirely, because the message will be loud and clear – bring enough people and you won’t be stopped.

As much as the Democratic Party likes to pretend that illegal immigration isn’t a threat to the United States, the immigration crisis is very real and very concerning. What happens to this migrant caravan – one way or another – will be a turning point with extraordinary ramifications.
