2019 Sure Gave Us Some PRICELESS Political Comedy…

The Left can’t meme. If you’ve heard it once, that’s probably because you have an Internet connection. If you haven’t, it’s probably because you’re still on your knees in the streets of Washington D.C. shouting “Nooooooooooooooo….” as a response to the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump.

Trump’s presidency has been a boon to comedy oriented news and commentary shows that support the president — which is rather unusual. Usually, a comedy show doesn’t get material from political leaders that they like. But in this case, as it happens, Trump is not only the best president in recent memory, he’s also the funniest. But the yuks don’t stop at the White House lawn. They reach out all across the western world, because as funny as Trump is, the spastic responses of his detractors are even funnier.

It’s like watching a gathering of twitchy squirrels getting repeatedly startled by a jack in the box over and over and over — and just as they start to leave, the Internet drops half a gallon of shelled pistachios compelling the squirrels to stay tuned. Needless to say, the memes have been spicy, and the comedy has been high.
