YouTube Continues to Censor Conservative Videos

In 2019, companies such as Google, Facebook, and a select few others wield a concerning amount of power in American politics. These companies control the information that a majority of Americans see on a daily basis, enabling them to push whatever agenda they please with extraordinary effectiveness.

While Google and others promise that they do not let their bias seep through into their products, their actions tell a much different story.

YouTube – the video platform owned by Google – continues to come down hard on conservative channels, cutting their source of income by demonetizing them and, in some cases, banning them outright. The level of bias that Google has shown when it comes to censoring conservative voices is so severe that it has caught the attention of Congress, though Congress has yet to act in any way that would put a stop to this practice.

Faced with the full brunt of Google’s censorship powers, conservatism in the United States faces a very real and immediate threat. Without a platform to communicate on, conservative voices have no true freedom of speech and no way to combat the many falsehoods of far-left narratives.

To hear the owner of Prager University – one YouTube channel that has experienced Google’s censorship first-hand – explain how dire this situation has become, be sure to check out the video below.
