Why Kamala Harris Thinks She Could Beat Trump in 2020

California Senator Kamala Harris is one of many Democrats setting up a presidential run for 2020, and she seems to already have a daunting campaign strategy.

Harris, along with other progressives such as senators Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, and perhaps even Bernie Sanders, doesn’t have to campaign as much as simply wait for the electoral map to be in her favor. This is an imminent threat all conservatives must be aware of.

Not long ago, states like Virginia and North Carolina were reliably red. These days, they are considered purple — trending outright blue. Florida and even the state of Georgia are in similar situations. Even Texas, long considered to be the reddest of red states, came very close to sending a vanilla white version of Barack Obama over Tea Party star Ted Cruz to the Senate. That is not good news for conservatives.
