Why Does the Left HATE American Energy Independence?

The Left wants weakness. They want to be weak themselves and be taken care of by someone else. They want you to be weak and to seek to become the ward of some purported caregiver.

It is the politicization of the destructive form of the mothering instinct. The wise know that every good mother must fail. Yes, that sounds terrible, but it’s the truth.

A good mother strives to protect her children, to coddle, feed, and nurture them. But the moment the child begins to stand, it needs to begin to face challenges, and eventually danger. Without challenge and trial, a child can never grow into a self-sustaining adult. And it most certainly can never care for a child of its own.

The Left believes that the Nursery State it inhabits is the world. They believe modern conveniences like running water and central HVAC are as established as the trees and the grass. They do not realize that the comforts and utilities we rely on most are under constant repair and vigilant guard.

They have relegated our guardian class and our working class to a force of nature that can be taken for granted.

For these reasons, they mock those who seek strength, competence, self-reliance, and virtue. They see these things as toxic, frivolous, and threatening to the thin skins of those who would remain forever infantile.

It could be that we just have to tolerate them. But we do not need to pay them any mind.
