Do you remember when Wikileaks was the left’s best friend? Back during the Iraq war, the main drive in Afghanistan — all during the 8-year Bush administration — when Wikileaks reported on the many wrongdoings and foibles of George W. Bush; Wikileaks was the golden goose that the left wing media couldn’t praise enough.
In those days, CNN, MSNBC, and all those other left-leaning news outlets were always happy to let the viewer know that Wikileaks has never been proven wrong or had to be pressured to make an embarrassing retraction. Julian Assange was a kind of Christ figure, with the unsubstantiated rape charge being held against him, forcing him to take refuge in an Ecuadoran embassy in London.
Today, Assange and everything that comes out of Wikileaks is Russian-made fake news with less than half of the credibility of Alex Jones’ Joe Rogan interview — if you ask CNN, that is.
Well, when it comes to being a part of the progressive left, you’re only as acceptable as the last thing you’ve said. As it turns out, Facebook has been stealing user data for a heck of a long time now. Not only that, but it’s come to light that both democrats and republicans have been doing shady Facebook dealings to come up with dubious opposition research.
Now that the Democrats can’t blame Trump without implicating Obama as well, and Facebook isn’t being smiled upon by the left anymore- and you can start the clock on the espionage charges for Zuckerberg.
