Tucker Carlson Debates Entitled Illegal Immigrant

When eight years of liberal policies have provided lawbreakers with nothing but protection and benefits, it’s easy for them to start feeling quite entitled.

So entitled, in fact, that even liberal lawmakers such as Nancy Pelosi have come under their fire for “not doing enough” to provide benefits and amnesty to the around 11 million immigrants who are in the United States illegally.

To discuss the hypocrisy of illegal immigrants making demands of a government that does not exist to represent them and whose laws they are breaking, Fox News’s Tucker Carlson invited illegal immigrant and the founder of Undocumedia Iván Ceja onto his show. While Iván himself is a DACA recipient, he is of the opinion that amnesty should not be limited to DACA recipients and instead should be given to all illegal immigrants.

What followed was an interesting, slightly heated debate about what right illegal immigrants have to make demands of a country that is not there’s. Surely, the government exists to provide safety and benefits to its citizens first and foremost, and it is only those citizens who have rights to make demands. According to Iván, though, this isn’t so.

Immigration is no doubt a tricky topic, but it’s obvious at this point that complete amnesty for anyone who enters the country illegally is not the solution. Nevertheless, even liberal lawmakers who do not support this drastic proposal have come under fire by the immigrant community.
