Liberals are taking the tragic events of the Florida mass shooting and shamelessly trying to score political points.
This is nothing new, but the brazen nature of the arguments that they put forward are absolutely ridiculous. Many left-leaning lawmakers and talking heads are trying to put President Donald Trump in the situation as if he was there when it happened. Trump famously said that he would not have acted like the cowardly deputies who actually were on the scene.
If the president’s past actions and policies protecting the Second Amendment are any indication, he probably would not have. It’s a shame when our top level executives are more ready for action than our front line defenders.
President Donald Trump has come pretty far on his views on guns. As with many of his stances on key political issues, the president has grown more conservative over time. Now, he appears to be taking the lead on finding a compromise on the availability of guns while the rest of Congress debates itself into a gridlocked corner.
