Everyone agrees that women deserve respect. Therefore, sexual misconduct directed their way should not be encouraged or allowed. However, the perceived outrage coming from the left aimed at fighting sexual misconduct might not have the purest of motives, this according to a recent video by Infowars’ Paul Joseph Watson.
The left’s modern feminists have high-jacked the fight against sexual misconduct, Watson says, seemingly to ensure women are treated respectfully. However, these motives might have less to do with wanting to help women seek justice against men and more to do with helping a dying organization regain relevance.
Today, according to the video, some 85% of Americas do believe in the women’s equality. However, only 18% of individuals themselves identify as a feminist. This might be due to the fact that the goals of the original organization have been achieved. These rights included fighting to give women the right to vote as well as hold office and own land. Those are all worthy goals that have thankfully been achieved. Therefore, as Paul says in the video, “the west needs feminist like fish needs a bicycle.”
Feminist decades ago simply desired the ability to achieve all the accomplishments of a man in the same circumstances. Today, the group seems more focused on putting men down, making them out to be evil as their way to promote a political cause. The present wrongdoing of many men in Hollywood fits this new narrative perfectly, which makes this “cause” an ideal situation for the group to high jack. This is a last-ditch effort by the modern day feminist organization to become relevant once again and to paint all men as monsters.
This video is an interesting watch that delves deeper into the motivation behind the present social justice war against men prompted by real-life situations. No one believes the men accused of these acts should go unpunished.
However, these incidents should not be used as a new mantra of modern feminism either. It isn’t fair to the countless number of men who do respect women. Nor should the feminist organization use it to remain relevant in the west. If they want to do some real good and become relevant once again, they should fight for women’s rights in the middle east, where women truly are treated as second-rate citizens.
