President Trump Issues Bold Warning to Hostile Iranian Leaders

Here’s something that we all already knew: President Donald Trump doesn’t take crap from anyone, least of all terrorist sympathizers and tyrants like Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Trump targeted the Iranian leader in a tweet in late July warning him to never threaten the United States again. The tweet was issued in pure Trumpian fashion: caps lock and exclamation points included. While statements like this have become pretty normal since Trump took office, many in the media speculated this was the start of another war — a rumor Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders hushed when she spoke to reporters later that same day.

Some of the president’s critics went as far as to say that the tweet in question was intended to be a distraction from the investigation into Russian meddling in 2016’s presidential election, which many on the left say was instrumental in Trump getting elected.

Iran is still considered to be the largest state-sponsor of terrorism in the world. Rouhani’s proxies include Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Islamic radical group Hezbollah.
