After helping sink Hillary Clinton’s chances at winning the 2016 election only to turn around and oversee a disgraceful, biased, and deeply partisan investigation into President Trump, James Comey has found himself with very few supporters left willing to back him.
His many missteps have been called into criticism by both Democrats and Republicans alike, forcing Comey to leave the FBI in a state of disgrace. Now, Comey is desperately clinging to the one thing that he has left — opposing President Trump.
In what is clearly little more than an attempt to salvage what’s left of his reputation and make some money along the way, Comey has recently launched what can only be described as a character assassination tour against Trump, attacking the president both in speech and in writing. As a man who is now despised by both sides of the aisle, though, his efforts are largely falling on deaf ears.
James Comey has only himself to blame for his punishing fall from grace. Taking a page straight from the leftist playbook, though, Comey is now attempting to blame Trump for this fall from grace instead.
