Why Does the Left HATE Israel So Much?

There was a time when both Republicans and Democrats alike considered Israel to be one of the United States’ most valued allies. Today, though, the issue has become deeply partisan.

Why those on the left now choose to no longer support Israel is truly a mystery. Let’s start with the fact that Israel is one of our most important allies in the Middle East — a country that has supported the fight against terrorism, backed the United States in every Middle Eastern conflict that we have been involved in, and worked to check the power of dangerous threats such as the Syrian and Iranian regimes.

If this support is not reason enough to back Israel, though, consider the fact that Israel is one of the only countries in the Middle East that upholds the values that America holds dearest. They are a democratic country that supports both religious and economic freedom – something that even Saudia Arabia, one of our only other allies in the region, cannot claim. In addition to supporting our same values, Israel is also the birthplace of incredible art, technological innovation, and other contributions to the world.

With all of these things considered, Democrats are left with no excuse for their increased hostility toward our Israeli allies – yet they refuse to support this important ally all the same.
