Hillary Clinton Drops More Hints at Possible 2020 Run

Just when it seems like Hillary Clinton is finally ready to slink off into the shadows, she returns once again.

After President Trump published a tweet goading Clinton to take another run at the White House in 2020, arguing that it would draw support away from Elizabeth Warren and increase his chances of victory, Clinton took the bait, tweeting back at Trump, “Don’t tempt me. Do your job.”

Shortly afterward, Clinton said in an interview that she could defeat Trump “again” — apparently referring to the fact that she won the popular vote in 2016.

Remarks such as this seem to suggest that Clinton hasn’t totally written off the idea of running once again in 2020. However, another Clinton presidential campaign remains highly unlikely nonetheless. By and large, the Democratic Party is ready to move on from Clinton and the many failures that she represents. Couple this with the fact that time to enter the 2020 race is quickly running out, and Clinton taking another shot at the White House becomes increasingly doubtful.

The most likely explanation for Clinton’s recent comments is that she is simply addicted to the spotlight. If by some small chance she really is delusional enough to run again, though, we can all look forward to seeing her fail once more.
