It looks like some of the fresh faces of the Democratic Party are rocking the boat. Frankly, we’re not surprised. The left has been driven into radicalizing more and more in its attempts to demonize Trump.
Here’s how it works; when the left wants to paint someone as “literally Hitler,” they have to move the Overton Window. Here’s the definition as provided by Wikipedia.
“Overton Window: the range of ideas tolerated in public discourse, also known as the window of discourse. The term is named after political scientist Joseph P. Overton, who claimed that an idea’s political viability depends mainly on whether it falls within a range acceptable to the public, rather than on politicians’ individual preferences.”
The left’s whole game is to shove their opponents out of the Overton Window. Once they’ve done that, no one will listen to the verboten person or subject. Of course, as we’ve been seeing over the last couple of years, they have to radicalize in order to pull the widow away from those they intend to defame.
We know this because Trump’s politics are virtually identical to liberal politics of the early 1990s. That’s why they don’t talk about Bill Clinton much. Well, that’s one reason. As you can imagine, this has real consequences — and for those of us living in reality, they look crazier and crazier.
Now, they’re getting so out of control as they try to undermine Trump that they are turning against their best candidates for the 2020 election.
