The 2020 presidential election is looking to be quite an interesting and highly contentious election indeed. At the moment, the most credible Democratic candidates include Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Governor Andrew Quomo, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
To be honest, this whole topic is mostly just a time filler for Democrats and liberals who are losing on every front and just want a palate cleanser. At a glance, you might assume that Oprah — the only candidate who goes by her first mane — would be a shoe-in. However, she’s got some skeletons in her closet that are going to be pretty hard to avoid by the time the #metoo accusations are all sorted out. But, that’s a whole other story.
Joe Biden is going to have a tough time circumnavigating the reams of evidence that he should be the next to be singled out for sexual indiscretions. Elizabeth Warren might seem like she had the wind taken out of her sails when it came out that she lied about being part Native American to get into college — the reason why Trump calls her ‘Pocahontas.’ But, chances are that little fib will seem pretty insignificant next to what the above are going to be up against.
Still, Donald Trump seems pretty confident even after Oprah became a threat. What’s more, it’s going to be pretty hard to beat him after the tax cuts become a reality in a few weeks.
