Iran Just Made it Clear it Does NOT Want War with America

…and seriously, can you really blame them?

Earlier this week, Iranian operatives launched missile strike into Iraq targeting a base where U.S. troops were located. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Apparently, this was the big retaliation the Islamic extremists who rule Iran with an iron fist promised after the killing of one of their top generals.

If you’re one of the blue checkmarks that was actually rooting for Iran in a hypothetical war against the United States, this probably left you feeling very disappointed. Where was the fire and fury that would end with Donald Trump not being president anymore? How was this in any way a proportional response to the death of one of Iran’s most iconic military figures?

The truth is that the mullahs in Iran, who actually run the country, understand perfectly well what would happen if they staged a true open armed conflict with the United States — all of them would die.

Granted: Iran has far more manpower and resources at its disposal than Iraq or Afghanistan, but people forget one important thing — both of those military engagements were limited from the start. If the United States unleashed its full military power, it’s fair to say that we might have the need to continue deploying troops there.
