Judge Jeanine: Killing Soleimani Needed to Happen

President Donald Trump’s strategic acuity and diplomatic brilliance have put Iran in its place without starting a war. He killed a man who was responsible for killing thousands of Iranian citizens, for terrorist strikes all around the globe, and who was reviled by the majority of the Iranian people.

Soleimani was a monster — a brutal dictatorial killer with a penchant for evil. He was a shell of a human being, bought and sold to murderous interests who held Iranians in an iron grip of fear.

But it was not for any of this that Trump ordered the strike that killed him. He did it because Soleimani had killed Americans, and planned the killing of more Americans. Trump was defending Americans.

What happened after that was sheer brilliance. The Iranian government needed to save face. So, they launched a few missiles made out of trash cans at an empty bunker. The Iranian missile strike killed no one, and damaged nothing important. After this impotent gesture, Trump extended the olive branch of peace to Iran. And that’s the end of it.

Now, Iran knows they cannot attack us without consequence, and the conflict has gone cool. No Americans died as a result, and neither will war begin.

Here’s Judge Jeanine with more on Soleimani.
