Boris Johnson’s Landslide Victory has Democrats Even More Concerned About 2020

Leading up Great Britain’s Prime Minister election, the talking heads in both the US and UK mainstream media practically promised that conservative Boris Johnson’s leftist opponent Jeremy Corbyn was destined to win the election. However, just like American pundits in 2016, the mainstream media drastically underestimated the wave of conservative support that has been growing in Great Britain.

Not only did Johnson end up winning the election in a landslide victory, the British parliament was flipped to a decisive conservative majority as well. Now, this result has many US Democrats even more worried about what the 2020 election might hold in store.

The “red wave” of swelling support for conservatism that Trump rode to the White House in 2016 is not limited to the United States alone, and it also isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. Those in the media proclaiming that Great Britain’s election would be a pulse-check of voter attitudes across the Western world were absolutely right – they simply never predicted that Johnson would be the one to win, much less by a landslide.

For the good of a country that has been horribly damaged by radical leftist policies, citizens of the UK chose the right candidate. In a few short months, citizens of the US will have a chance to do the same.
